The Thesis

Muhammad Laraib Khan is a Pakistani entrepreneur, business leader, and AI strategist based in Dubai, building his career at the point where capital, computation, and sovereignty collide. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rebootix Artificial Intelligence Research and Development, a venture built around a simple but aggressive thesis: the future will not belong to companies that bolt artificial intelligence on top of old software, but to the firms that rebuild the operating layer itself.

The Foundation — Arif Habib Corporation

Laraib’s career began in business strategy and investment analysis, where he learned how markets move, how institutions think, and how value is captured long before the public sees the final product. He started at Arif Habib Corporation in January 2020 as a Business Strategy Intern, working on market research, competitive intelligence, data analysis, strategic documentation, and workshop facilitation. He was then promoted into a higher strategic role — Manager Strategic Investments — where his work moved deeper into valuation, investment research, portfolio analysis, and opportunity mapping.

He was involved in foundational market mapping and valuation research tied to acquisition and expansion decisions, including work supporting due diligence around Silkbank Limited. His research also contributed to strategic thinking around new asset classes, REIT expansion, and investment pathways connected to Globe Residency REIT and the broader Naya Nazimabad growth story. He did not approach strategy as slide-making theater. He approached it as a weapon: a way to identify asymmetric opportunities, structure decisions under uncertainty, and move capital toward the next defensible position.

The Build — Edentrack Solutions

In July 2021, he founded Edentrack Solutions Ltd. in Karachi and built it into a software development and services company serving international markets. This was not a side experiment. It was a live proof of his ability to create an operating business from zero. Under his leadership, Edentrack expanded across software development, SaaS delivery, web and mobile products, outsourcing, support operations, and digital marketing services.

It won major client work, scaled rapidly, and grew into a 104-person team. The company served eight major clients and more than fifty smaller clients, secured a seven-figure annual financial-sector contract, and established enough operating strength to be led through a strategic exit. He did not inherit a machine. He assembled one.

The Pivot — Moving to Dubai

After that chapter, Laraib moved to Dubai in June 2024 and used that period to sharpen the deeper thesis that now defines his work. He studied foresight, startup development, leadership, deep learning, and AI-linked business systems through Dubai Future Foundation’s Foundations of Foresight, Google for Startups Founders Academy, NVIDIA training, Oxford courses, and other founder- and AI-focused programs.

He concentrated on three high-value fronts: architectural stewardship — defining how a truly sovereign intelligence stack should remain local, auditable, resilient, and independent of external corporate control; strategic foresight — identifying where regulatory regimes, supply-chain realities, compute dependency, and national AI policy were moving before those forces became mainstream talking points; and venture alignment — designing a company that would anchor a larger ecosystem around sovereign intelligence, local-first compute, and AI-native infrastructure.

The Mission — Rebootix

The result is Rebootix Artificial Intelligence Research and Development. Founded in July 2025, Rebootix is not a normal startup chasing the familiar SaaS script. It is an R&D-led venture pursuing foundational AI systems intended to reshape the stack itself. Under Laraib’s leadership, Rebootix has assembled a multidisciplinary team of nine spanning engineering, research, design, and business — driving four major initiatives with two major prototypes already advanced.

The Profile

His technical and strategic vocabulary reflects exceptional breadth. He works across AI architecture, system architecture, business strategy, neuro-symbolic AI, sovereign data models, AI-native operating system design, multi-agent environments, auditability logic, Docker-based deployment, MERN-stack product systems, Linux and C++ orientation, TypeScript, Java, SQL, LLM orchestration, neural search, and open-source execution strategy.

As a leader, Laraib blends conviction with commercial instinct. He has operated in corporate strategy, built and exited a company, scaled teams, won international work, and transitioned into frontier AI system design. He is willing to make large bets on difficult ideas because he sees difficult ideas as the only terrain where enduring leverage is created. He is comfortable building before consensus arrives — and carrying a thesis long enough for the world to catch up.
